We really like FL, but I’ve reached the end of what I can tolerate of rainy season amping up the toxins were reacting to. Since last posting we went to Melbourne, FL (if you’re a mold avoider, just don’t), Brooksville, FL, back to where we’ve spent so much of our time in FL, and then decided to leave again today. The hope was to stay in Lakeland, but the area has been sprayed and smelled like a fresh flea collar, which didn’t feel good. The hope is someone will book the room we reserved being they’re sold out. I know last week when it hadn’t been recently sprayed in the area, we really wished someone would cancel and we could have their room! Apparently it wasn’t meant to be bc this is the second week in a row it didn’t work out. We decided if Lakeland didn’t work that we were going to head to TX so we’re heading that way. We’re just passing a sign for Levyville to the left and it feels pretty amazing over here on the west side of the state.
Being back to our “hotel home” the past week was amazing. I think the staff was as excited to see us back as we were to see them. I got hugs and excitement as people saw us for the first time, though they all knew we were back. Even Bridget seemed excited to see us, which was shocking being she never seemed all that excited to see us when we were there before. We said goodbye to the couple we’re closest to this morning before taking off and started a few long days of driving. Please pray we find a place to stay and don’t get beat up too bad in the process.
Thinking of you guys! Safe travels and hoping for better air for you.
