We spent all yesterday lounging around camp so today we decided to get some exercise. After breakfast, and the usual morning preparations, we walked down to the Three Rivers Petroglyphs site. We saw some ruins of villages from 1000 years ago and petroglyphs (ancient graphiti). The petroglyphs are all on top of a foot hill so we climbed about 500ft. Our total walk/hike was about 6-7 miles, so that should make up for not doing anything yesterday.
We have settled into a routine in good air and find ourselves with free time. This gives me the itch to find some freelance work. We are also hoping to find some land we can use long term for camping. Tomorrow we will be heading over to a local restaurant early in the morning vwhere the staff have offered to introduce us to a rancher who might know of some opportunities. Depending on how that goes, we may go down to the nearest Walmart (40 minutes) to get odds and ends or we may move camp.
Your posts are very interesting. Praying you and Wesley will find some long term relief soon!
