We’ve learned a big lesson in our latest experiment. We’ve been back in a local hotel the past 7 nights bc our HVAC went bad and with storm Izzy, it was way too cold to not run it. I’ve made lots of gains, but Wesley isn’t thriving here during the day. Tuesday Wesley had an overnight project for work and didn’t come to bed until 4am Wednesday. The next two days he’s been slamming me, which happened after the two overnights last week too.
Yesterday Wesley worked from the house and today I went back to check it out. The plan is to go back and do some cleaning, laundry, and set up some radiator style space heaters tomorrow. Hopefully this will work and we can stay in the house. We’ve decided because I end up taking the brunt of the slam in the end that Wesley isn’t going to do overnights anymore.
Our red neck sauna made of brooder lamps that my midwife/Natropath has me doing is really helping. I also started a homeopathic. On the label it says it’s for cold and flu, which is great by me bc the gal at the front desk last night digressed from normal to clearly sick during her shift last night. Gwen also says it can help babies to switch to a better position. That would be great bc this kid is sitting OP and it’s far from comfy with shoulders jammed in my pelvis. I’m tired so I think we’re going to head to bed early tonight.
I hope the space heaters help! We have been running space heaters all winter and they work so great for our little apartment. That is interesting that the overnighters slam you. Why do you think that is? Thanks for the update!!
We’re not 100% sure, but it’s like his body goes into a crazy fast dump of toxins and I’m left destroyed in the wake of his toxic dump. His client wants him there so bad he got it cleared for no overnight work for Wesley.
The space heaters are working well thankfully! This week has been going well. I’d love to catch up with you sometime. I hope all is well with your family!!
